Martyn Lewis CBE

Teliris
Martyn Lewis is a co-founder and the chairman of Teliris, and has played a strategic role in the development of the company, its products and services. Martyn is one of Britainâs best-known broadcasters.
In a television career spanning 34 years, he has presented every mainstream national TV news programme on ITV and the BBC, and reported from around Britain and the world. He regularly chairs conferences in the corporate, public and charity sectors, and is presenter of the ITV series âUltimate Questionsâ. Beyond his role at Teliris, Martyn is also Chairman of Global Intercasting, which reshapes corporate communications strategies. He is also heavily involved in charitable work. He founded and chairs YouthNet UK, an Internet resource guiding young people to every conceivable kind of opportunity, help and advice â and described by the Prime Minister as âpath-breakingâ for the way it uses technology to help communities. Closely involved with hospices for many years, Martyn is a Vice-President of the movementâs three main national hospice charities. He has written the definitive laymanâs guide to the Hospice movement in Britain, and speaks regularly at Hospice fund-raising events around the country. His other charitable roles include the Presidency of United Response, providing homes in the community for people with learning disabilities. |

Charles Stucki

Charles Stucki joined Cisco six years ago, and served as the VP of the Internet Business Solutions Group Manufacturing practice, where he worked with global account teams, theater and area sales leadership, and senior business executives in global high-tech, automotive, aerospace, and industrial companies. Prior to joining the EMTG, he led a cross-Cisco program to set a Cisco-wide strategy and action plan to upgrade process and systems infrastructure in order to better support Ciscoâs growing software businesses. This past year, Stucki also worked on developing the criteria and process for vetting and incubating new ideas into the next emerging technologies. He holds a BS, summa cum laude, from Brigham Young University, a CPA, and an MBA, with high distinction, from the Harvard Business School. |

Marc Trachtenberg

Marc Trachtenberg is a co-founder of Teliris, where he holds the positions of deputy chairman and chief technology officer. In this role, he supplies strategic direction for the corporation. He is also the chief executive officer of Mycroft Inc, the IT and network services company which, with Global Intercasting Ltd, formed Teliris in 2001. Marc is the chief architect of the FACT framework, and is responsible for development of Telirisâ infrastructure. He also manages research and development of all Telirisâ future product and transport solutions. Marc has over 22 years of experience in leading-edge technology in the areas of infrastructure and transport systems. He architects global networks for international companies and works closely with communication carriers and infrastructure vendors to shape the services and devices of their next-generation offerings. |

Aaron McCormack

Aaron was appointed CEO of BT Conferencing in August 2006 and has executive responsibility for BTâs Audio/Video Conferencing and Collaboration businesses worldwide with a revenue of $180m and 750 people. Aaron was Vice President of BTâs Global Products division for BT from 2002. He was responsible for all of BTâs network businesses totaling nearly $5 billion in revenue, spanning 120 countries and growing at nearly 10% per annum. He also takes a prominent role in BTâs merger and acquisition activities and business development and is BTâs age diversity champion. Prior to his current position, he held a variety of positions with BT and its joint ventures â including those with AT&T and MCI. He has worked extensively in sales, service, product marketing and product development. These roles have seen him live and work in Europe, Asia and the Americas. He currently lives in Boston.

Dominic Dodd is a Senior Industry Analyst and Programme Manager covering conferencing and collaboration with Frost & Sullivanâs ICT practice in Europe.
Based in Oxford and London, Dominic is also a member of the Frost & Sullivan global team of conferencing and collaboration experts, providing syndicated research on all aspects of the conferencing and collaboration industry
and markets on a worldwide basis.
Dominic has over 25 years of telecom and IT industry experience, the last 18 years of which have been focused on conferencing services and products with a range of leading global companies.
At BT, he held both senior product management and business management roles leading the development and growth of audio and video conferencing services. Working with BTâs joint venture partners in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific, Dominic pioneered and implemented a conferencing services franchise concept that led to BTâs strong position in the global markets. At ACT Teleconferencing, with responsibilities for global business development, Dominic developed the strategy for global product delivery and global infrastructure procurement, and initiated the highly successful Concert-ACT partnership. With MultiLink, Dominic was responsible for international sales and marketing, supporting the EMEA and Asia-Pacific markets. In addition to ongoing research and work on numerous consulting projects, Dominic has authored whitepapers and has been a keynote speaker on a number of e-broadcasts and at industry events.

Paul Waadevig

Mr. Waadevig is widely recognized as an expert in the US Government IT, Telecom, Conferencing and Collaboration, with his primary expertise being in the audio conferencing market. Prior to joining Frost and Sullivan, Mr. Waadevig worked in the legal field specializing in contracts and patient law. Since joining Frost & Sullivan in 2000, he has worked as an analyst in telecommunication services, rising to Industry Manager of Frost & Sullivanâs Telecommunication Services practice. During this time, Mr. Waadevig developed Frost & Sullivanâs business vertical market strategy.
In 2002, Mr. Waadevig began to leverage Frost & Sullivanâs current telecommunication service vertical coverage of the US government market and Frost & Sullivanâs long time defense and aerospace division practice to start the US Government IT and Telecommunication practice.
In 2005 Mr. Waadevig took over management of the North American Conferencing & Collaboration practice and in 2006 began his current position as Global Program Director for the practice. Mr. Waadevig received a JD from Boston College, a MBA from Carroll School of Management (Boston College) and a BS in Philosophy of Science and Technology from Portland State University. |

Kevin Dean

Kevin Dean is the Healthcare Interim Global Lead for the Cisco Internet Business Solution Group (IBSG), focusing on helping healthcare and public sector leaders develop strategies and implementation plans for "Connected Health" information management and technology.
He has experience in numerous aspects of health IT strategy and execution, including helping to develop the UK NHS IT strategy while on secondment from IBSG. He and his team are now working with national and regional governments around the world, as well as advising the European Commission and World Health Organization (WHO). Kevin's team provides advice for groundbreaking projects such as the Health Academy, a joint WHO/ Cisco initiative to provide health education to schoolchildren in developing nations.
Since joining Cisco in 1999, Kevin has also become a trusted adviser on e-business strategy to some of the world's largest companies and public organizations, across many industries including energy, transportation, and retail.
Kevin's background is in consulting, working primarily in the oil, chemicals, and pharmaceutical sectors. He has concentrated on supply chain management and purchasing, but has also been involved in activities such as large-scale global enterprise management system implementation; assessment of investment priorities for EU funding, and guidance and assessment of investment success for government programs including advanced robotics. |

Gordon Peterkin

Gordon Peterkin is a former GP from Forfar, Scotland. A graduate of Glasgow University he has a long standing interest in business management and innovation. From being Director of Development at the Tayside Centre for General Practice, he became Medical Director of Grampian Healthcare in April 1998 and has worked in medical management through various health service reorganisations until April 2006, when he assumed the role of Director of The Scottish Centre for Telehealth. This is a post which enables him to put his past experience in health service redesign, unscheduled care, community hospitals and relationships with industry to good use. His prime objective is to set up a facilitative organisation that supports development and research in chronic disease management, unscheduled care, professional education and remote and rural issues. Professor Peterkin has organised a range of international study tours and believes technology is one of the keys that will facilitate redesign of healthcare and improved services for patients. |
